WHAT IS MOBILE ID (mDL)?
A mobile driver’s license (mDL) is a highly secure, official version of your driver’s license or state-issued ID card (mID) on your phone.
Where do I get my (mDL)?
While in the current pilot mode phase, the only way to get the app and mobile ID is through one of the events with the Utah DLD. As we finalize details for future events, we will post the information on this page and share through social media.
Where can I use my (mDL)?
You will be able to use your mDL at banks, grocery stores, liquor stores, car rental agencies and many other locations in the months to come.
